Skin-stealers are yellow  humanoid entities with sunken white eyes and a big, dark hole for a “mouth”

Once a skin-stealer spots prey, The skin-stealer will chase the victim doing small

jumps within its “legs” one behind another and the right hand raised and facing down.

Once a skin-stealer   cleaned the skin, skin-stealers have black holes

on their hands similar to the ones in a octopus tentacles to export nutrients and vitamins to the

skin to keep it as a fresh disguise and not let it rot. 
The Skin-stealer has the ability to use his previous victim’s skin as a disguise.

While in disguise, they enter an neutral state and won’t attack unless provoked.

The Skin-stealer uses the extraordinary  shapeshifting ability mentioned above

to trick explorers into thinking their humans until finally ready to hunt

The skin-stealer takes off their previous victim’s skin to show
